Biography

I am a visual artist from Northern France, based in Lyon. My work explores the connections between landscape, light, and escapism through drawing.
After studying applied arts at ESAAT in Roubaix and École Boulle in Paris, I developed a particular interest in light and the way it shapes perception. This exploration led me to study lighting design at ENSATT in Lyon, where I graduated in 2022.
My experience with light now informs my entire artistic practice. The way it interacts with materials, textures, colors, and contrasts directly influences how I construct my images.
Across different series, I create visual worlds that lie between abstraction and evocations of the natural world. Mountainous reliefs, aerial views, and luminous atmospheres become the starting point for images conceived as spaces for escape, contemplation, and imagination.
Artistic approach
I create visual worlds that move between abstraction and references to the natural world. My images are shaped by my relationship with light and by landscapes encountered through travel. Mountainous reliefs, aerial views, and luminous atmospheres feed an imaginary world that I translate through drawing.
Rather than faithfully depicting existing places, I seek to create evocative visual worlds, open to imagination and personal interpretation. My images function as spaces to pause and breathe, bringing a sense of elsewhere, movement, and contemplation into everyday life.
I develop my work through a series-based approach, with each series offering a distinct exploration of these ideas. Colored pencil, India ink, ultra-fine pen, digital drawing, and screen printing become different ways of translating sensations and imagined spaces.
